On-Campus Student Health

Independence Community College has a partnership with Labette Health to provide on-campus student health services. Located in the Student Union.

Telehealth Services

Independence Community College is devoted to maintaining the health and well-being of the campus community. In an effort to provide no-cost mental health counseling and more to our students, ICC has partnered with TimelyCare.  Each student will receive six sessions (scheduled by appointment) between July 1 and June 30.
 

TimelyCare

Through the TimelyCare mobile app or your desktop, you now have 24/7 access to virtual care anywhere in the United States – at no cost.

Whether you're feeling sick, anxious, or just overwhelmed, you can connect with a licensed provider through phone or secure video.

  1. How Can I Access TimelyCare?
    • Visit timelycare.com/indycc, or
    • Download the TimelyCare app from your device’s app store.
    • Register using your school email address to start accessing care from any smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.
  2. What Services Are Available?
    • TalkNow – 24/7, on-demand emotional support from licensed counselors.
    • Scheduled Counseling – Choose the time, date, and counselor that works for you.
    • Health Coaching – Get help building healthy habits and staying on track.
    • Self-Care Content – Access guided meditations, yoga videos, expert articles, and more.
    • Peer Community – A safe, anonymous space to connect with other students going through similar experiences.

  1. On-demand Crisis Counseling

  2. The ability to schedule an appointment with a Counselor through video and/or audio
    • Visit https://app.uwill.com/loginto schedule an appointment
      • Use your ICC email address. 
      • U-Will will send a confirmation to your ICC email.

      • Follow the Registration steps and schedule an appointment.
  3. On-demand Wellness Programming

      • Use your ICC email address.

Additional Healthcare Solutions: 

Labette Health offers a wide variety of local services at the Independence Clinic and Express Care location at 510 N. Peter Pan Road Independence, KS 67301. Call ahead to make an appointment at 620-577-4310.

Four County Mental Health Services offers over 40 service programs designed to meet the unique needs associated with all ages and mental/behavioral challenges. To set up a one-on-one mental health conversation, contact their main office at 3751 W. Main Independence KS, 67301 or by calling 620-331-1748.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides 24/7, free confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. Call anytime at 800-273-8255.

American Association of Poison Control Centers offer fast, free expert services through the Poison Help Hotline at 800-222-1222.
